1. How much does the service cost?

2. Are there any transaction fees?
   No. ClicShop will not bill any transaction fees.  However, if you sign up for real-time credit card processing services with a third party provider, they may charge you transaction fees.

About security

1. Is ClicShop secure?
   Yes. ClicShop uses standard SSL encryption keys for all its merchants. Not only that, but security has been deeply thought during all development phases of the application, so you can rest assured that your private information is kept secure.

Credit Cards

1. How can I accept credit cards?
   There are 2 ways to accept Credit Cards with ClicShop.  We recommend to use both at the same time.
   
   a) Paypal - You can accept credit cards through Paypal service. Paypal is a "person-to-person" money transfer service.  However, you will only be able to accept payments from Paypal users.  For more information on Paypal click here
   
   b) Get a merchant account  - You can get a merchant account with your bank or through payment services providers such as PSIGate, InternetSecure or Desjardins.  Do not hesitate to call us to see if your payment provider is compatible with ClicShop. 
   
   
2. I already have a merchant account.  Can I use it with ClicShop?
   Yes.  Please call us to see if your merchant account is actually supported by ClicShop. PSIGate also offers a credit card processing service for businesses who already have their merchant account. Click here for more information.

Reseller accounts questions
The following information only applies to Reseller accounts  

• Where will my clients find my ecommerce solution?
  Your will need to choose the domain under which your ecommerce solution will be available to your customers and place links to this URL from your company website.  We suggest to use a "ecommerce" subdomain such as ecommerce.yourdomain.com.  We can also install the system under a full domain name.
  
  

• Who hosts the ecommerce websites?
  Any web hosting provider can host the websites built with ClicShop. Once an ecommerce website is built or updated, ClicShop transfers all pages via FTP to the client's Web hosting account, which can be located on any server, using the client's username and password.  This requires NO special installation on the ISP's servers.
  
  

• What happens when a buyer orders a product?
  As soon as a buyer clicks on the "Order Now" button, he is transferred to our secure servers and all the checkout process is handled by our infrastructure.  Once the buyer has completed the checkout, he is sent back to the website.
